ProphetX Partners with Pikkit as Sports Prediction Market Distribution Push Accelerates
ProphetX will power sports event contracts inside Pikkit, giving eligible U.S. users direct access to its CFTC-regulated exchange infrastructure ahead of the NFL season.

ProphetX is bringing its federally regulated sports prediction markets directly into Pikkit, extending an aggressive distribution push aimed at putting its exchange infrastructure behind existing sports and gaming communities.
The companies announced the partnership on Monday, August 10, with Pikkit set to give eligible users access to event contracts executed on ProphetX. Initial markets will cover the NFL, NBA and international soccer, with the integration expected to launch ahead of the upcoming NFL season.
Pikkit currently functions primarily as a sports tracking and social analytics platform, allowing users to sync activity from more than 30 betting and daily fantasy platforms, track performance and compare their results with other users. Under the new arrangement, users will also be able to access ProphetX markets through the Pikkit platform rather than moving to a separate prediction market venue.
The contracts themselves will remain on ProphetX infrastructure, with trades executed through its exchange and cleared through its registered derivatives clearing organization.
ProphetX was registered by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as a derivatives clearing organization on June 10 and designated as a contract market one day later on June 11. The CFTC currently lists ProphetX as both a registered DCO and designated DCM.
Scaling the Distribution Network
The Pikkit deal is the latest indication that ProphetX does not intend to compete for users exclusively through its own consumer app.
On July 23, the company announced an integration with competitive gaming platform Players’ Lounge. Less than two weeks later, ProphetX partnered with peer-to-peer fantasy platform EPICK Fantasy to bring sports event contracts into its product. Pikkit now becomes the third announced distribution partnership in less than three weeks.
That strategy is also reflected in ProphetX’s B2B offering. The company markets its infrastructure to sports operators, media companies, fantasy platforms and trading firms, offering embedded markets, white-label exchanges and access to its liquidity.
The push follows ProphetX’s July 28 announcement of a $35 million funding round aimed partly at expanding its regulated exchange and B2B infrastructure.
For Pikkit, the integration adds execution to a product already built around tracking and comparing sports positions. Instead of only showing users how they have performed across different venues, Pikkit can now become another entry point into the prediction market itself.
That distinction could become increasingly important as competition in U.S. prediction markets moves beyond which exchange can list the most contracts and toward which platforms can secure the strongest distribution.
ProphetX appears to be betting that the quickest route to scale may be to supply the exchange infrastructure while allowing established sports communities to own the customer relationship.
The integration will be available only to eligible users in applicable U.S. jurisdictions.
