The Philadelphia 76ers have named Kalshi their official prediction-market partner under a multiyear agreement announced on 30 October.

In a team release shared by Sixers reporter Kyle Neubeck, the franchise described itself as the first NBA team to appoint an official prediction-market partner. The agreement follows the NBA’s separate league-level arrangement with Kalshi earlier that week.

The release says the partnership will introduce content, creative projects and fan-engagement programmes. Its launch announcement included free SEPTA rides tied to the team’s 30 October matchup with the New York Knicks.

Team promotions follow the league agreement

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that planned activations include a poster series with local artists and opportunities through the Sixers mobile app to win merchandise and concessions. It also reported that Kalshi would fund postgame SEPTA rides for fans attending the Knicks game.

The announcement adds a team-level commercial relationship to the league framework covered by Prediction Frontier on 26 October. That earlier agreement named Kalshi and Polymarket preferred prediction-market exchanges and set out integrity obligations for NBA-related markets.

Financial terms and a detailed rollout schedule for the wider fan programmes were not disclosed in the material reviewed. Its announcement of a commercial partnership should not be read as granting permission for additional contract types.

The team’s claim to be first concerns an official NBA franchise partnership. It is distinct from the league-wide agreements and from individual players’ commercial relationships with prediction-market companies.
