OG.com expands beyond prediction trading with Rips card launch
OG.com Rips adds physical trading-card packs with cash buyback or shipment options. The company says the product is separate from CFTC-regulated trading.

OG.com has added a physical trading-card product to its app and website, expanding beyond the event contracts available through its trading services.
The company announced on 29 October that its Rips packs were live across Pokémon, MLB, NBA and NFL categories. A company release reproduced on 30 October describes digital pack openings linked to physical cards, with users choosing a cash buyback or shipment.
A seven-day decision window
According to the release, users have seven days to choose what happens to a card. Taking no action means accepting the buyback offer. OG.com says each pack tier displays discovery probabilities and that physical cards are held through a third-party custody network.
The release identifies OGMUS as the provider, limits participation to adults and expressly states that Rips is not CFTC-regulated. It also says the owners of the sports and Pokémon brands are not parties to the card sales.
The announcement does not name the custody provider or explain the buyback valuation formula. Prediction Frontier could not retrieve the product’s full terms to independently check those details or geographic exclusions.
A separate product from derivatives
PF previously covered OG.com and Crypto.com’s US perpetuals launch. Rips adds a different activity to the consumer app: buying an unknown physical collectible, then deciding whether to keep it.
The launch alone does not show whether card buyers will become prediction-market traders or what the product will contribute to the business. Neither adoption figures nor revenue terms were disclosed in the release.
