Kalshi brings market data and portfolios into AI assistants

The exchange’s official MCP connector gives compatible assistants access to contract rules, order books and account data after sign-in.

Kalshi announced an official connector on 6 November that lets compatible AI assistants retrieve prediction-market odds, contract rules and order books. The exchange published setup instructions through Kalshi Pro.

The connector uses the Model Context Protocol, or MCP, to make Kalshi data available inside an assistant. Users add Kalshi’s server as a custom connection. For account-specific requests, Kalshi says users sign in so the assistant can retrieve positions, fills and settlements.

Traders place orders on Kalshi

Kalshi describes the connector as a way to read market and account data. It can link users to Kalshi, where they place their own trades. For perpetual futures, the exchange says assistants can retrieve mark prices and order books and return estimated liquidation prices. Those estimates reflect conditions at the time of the request. The market rules are as important as the price. An assistant can use the connector to look up how a contract settles and what is available at different prices while a reader is researching a story. Two similarly worded contracts can still have different deadlines or settlement criteria, so the relevant market page remains the source to check.

Kalshi’s update provides a server address and setup instructions. It does not list every supported client or publish rate limits for the connector. Prediction Frontier verified the documentation. The authenticated portfolio connection and results across different assistants have yet to be tested by PF.
